For more than three decades, I’ve dedicated my life to helping golfers of all ages and skill levels unlock their potential. As a full‑time teaching professional delivering over 1,000 lessons each year, I provide year‑round instruction through my modern indoor studio and the outdoor academy range at Scott Greens Golf Club — our family‑run course where I proudly serve as President and Owner. I oversee daily operations of our 9‑hole golf course, 9‑hole putting course, and a growing academy supported by six part‑time instructors.

A Swing for Life Golf Academy – 27 Years Strong

As Director of Instruction for the A Swing for Life Golf Academy, I’ve built one of the region’s most respected training programs. Our academy supports 100+ full‑time and 50+ part‑time adult and junior golfers, offering everything from beginner clinics to advanced training.

Over the years, our students have earned:

• 100+ First & Second Team All‑Regional honors

• 14 Player of the Year awards

• 1–3 annual college scholarships for standout academy members

I’m honored to have been voted the area’s Readers Choice “Best Golf Instructor” from 2015–2022.

My passion for teaching extends beyond the lesson tee:

• Inventor of the patent‑pending “HZ” Golf Swing Trainer with 1,500+ units sold

• Creator of the PYGO Challenge video series (five editions)

• Host of the growing DrillFreak Golf YouTube channel featuring 300+ instructional videos

• Freelance writer for Northeast Golf, PGA Fitness, PGA Range, Happenings Magazine, and annual contributor to Golf Teaching Pro

Coaching Excellence

For 28 years, I’ve served as Head Golf Coach at Mid Valley High School, guiding the program to nine straight playoff appearances and establishing it as one of NEPA’s premier high‑school golf programs.

Florida Winter Bootcamps

Since 2014, I’ve led sold‑out Winter Florida Golf Bootcamps in the Miami area — ten consecutive years of full enrollment and unforgettable training experiences.

Career Highlights

• Named to the Top 100 WGTF Golf Teaching Professionals five times

• Competed in six AA minor‑league professional events before a neck injury ended competitive play

• Completing the PYGO Challenge at Martha’s Vineyard with Bill Murray taking the one‑hour challenge

• Provided swing instruction to Jorge Posada (NY Yankees) in Miami and Max Kranick (NY Mets) at my ASFL studio in Pennsylvania
