A healthy golf swing is the perfect balance of posture, strength and flexibility blended into an effortless athletic movement. Many golfers cannot perform the golf swing properly because of joint limitations and/or muscle imbalances that are causing pain in the low back, shoulder, spine, and/or elbow.

A SWING FOR LIFE GOLF ACADEMY has teamed up with the TITLEIST PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE (TPI) and PRO-CARE PHYSICAL THERAPY, and YUSAVAGE FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC
to assist with finding healthcare professionals that offer programs designed
to recondition your body for a healthier golf swing and improved quality of life.

DR. JASON YUSAVAGE is a chiropractor whose practice is located on the Burke Bypass in Olyphant, PA. Scotty, who established the A Swing for Life Golf Program, has received the assurance from Dr. Jason that the swing he is teaching his students is sound from a biomechanical standpoint as well as from a golf standpoint. "A healthy swing puts your body in the correct positions - making your joints less susceptible to injury. This is monumentally important to consider when training to take your swing to the next level in performance and keep swinging safely for many years to come."
The Golf Conditioning and Strengthening Program offered by Pro-Care Physical Therapy consists of an evaluation to identify any physical limitations and/or muscle weaknesses you may have. You will then be video-taped performing your golf swing. After a discussion of how the results from the evaluation correlate to any swing flaws present in the video, an individualized program of corrective exercises will be prescribed. The exercises will focus on improving your flexibility, core strength, and total body strength with stretching and strengthening exercises that are specific to the golf swing.

The program will be conducted by
ANTHONY ANDREJKO PTA/ATC and KRISTINA WULFF ATC/DPT.
Both individuals are TPI certified golf fitness instructors.

The exercises and theories presented are based on protocols used at the Titleist Performance Institute, one of the countries leaders in golf performance programs.
